This was explained by Law and Foreign Affairs Minister K Shanmugam when he paid a visit to a foreign workers dormitory.

Under the Immigration Act, foreigners who act contrary to Singapore's interest, or in a manner that is prejudicial to Singapore's security or safety, can be asked to leave the country.

Did the Govt use this Act to remove/deport ang mohs, FT and PR who committed crimes against locals in Singapore? There were cases of ang mohs walking away happily from courts after paying their fines for attacking the locals. Did the Govt use this Act on them, and why not?

Were foreign women holding PR deported/removed when found in the vice trade such as hookers in Geylang or masseuses in health centres?

There is no glory in using this Act only against the rioting ah nehs.
