I heard from my colleague that a friend of his just passed away recently due to cancer. A few days before he actually formatted his phone and laptop. Makes me wonder what if people find out our stash of materials or remnants of cheonging when we die, especially those who live a hidden life. What if it's a freak accident? No time to delete... :D

It's good to set a password, even if I'm dead. I doubt my love ones will want to crack open my PC to search for my items.

Yup I agree too. Passwords will keep undisclosed information away in such scenarios.. ;)

I've heard of guys setting up agreements with each other to wipe their computers or maybe just certain files in case of unexpected death or illness, so family doesn't find out.

Some people hope they can still retain their good image even after death. Imagine if a wife finds his good husband was cheating. She would have rise the children differently, or the children might start hating daddies, etc.

Anyway, sometimes feel the chinese saying is true "if don't want people to find out, the best way is to never do it"
