An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Ok, I notice we have not had a food thread in this Courtyard Cafe for quite a while.
I come from a family of pure (Swatow) teochews for generations. (Pure meaning, dad and mum, both paternal and maternal grandparents, great grandparents etc. were all teochews).
And you know, the teochews absolutely love taro (yam).
I can eat taro the whole day, seven days a week, and still not sick of it.
I am wondering if Chinese of other dialects, like to eat taro too? How do you cook it?
