An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Are Sinkie drivers born with superior night vision? Do pedestrians and other road users have the same God given gift? Is there an LTA option to do away with all vehicle's lights?
35 years ago I was given a $30 fine for not switching on my headlights despite the fact my pilot lights were on.
All road driving trainees should be given deduction points if they are aware when questioned by the instructor or tester of the state of different instruments like speedometer, engine temperature and fuel. It will cultivate a good habit of always scanning the instrument cluster to keep in check speed and health of the vehicle they are driving.
