I agree - the Mandarin Oriental is good value if you can get in. Sometimes they offer internet specials. Cloe to Burgos and two of the good FL bars - Heckle & Jeckle and the Filling Station.

Edsa Shang got nothing much there. If you stay there, only thing to do is to call massage or escort to your room thats all. Can look up those Classified Ads in newspaper.

As for Edsa Entertainment Plaza, its at Makati side. If you want to try those places, would recommend you stay at The Heritage Hotel (understand that the hotel is owned by a Singaporean). Heritage is just opposiet Edsa Entertainment Plaza.

As for those Sauna, its better you go with a Local there. They will check out the protocol and duration for you. Else, better not to try on your own.

In the $30-40 range I would strongly recommend a superior room at the Hotel Royal Amsterdam. The hotel is less than six months old and right in the middle of the action on Fields Ave. The only drawback is no pool. Here is a mini-review I wrote on another website

I stayed here for a week over Thanksgiving shortly after they opened. I stayed in a superior room for $30 a night under an introductory rate (this room is now $35 a night). The executive summary is that there is a new sheriff in town and this is real 4* hotel room only bigger! This hotel would be a huge bargain even if it was in Thailand. If you don’t need a pool, want to be in smack dab in the middle of the Fields Ave action, and are willing to pay $35 a night you need to look a further. I am actually amazed at how well the hotel looks, and I dig the wood trim everywhere. Clearly tremendous attention was paid to the details.

The lobby and its reception remind me a lot of the Main Street Station hotel in Las Vegas. The restaurant was a priced a little above market – but for the quality of food and the air conditioned comfort you will never find me again eating Kokomoz swill and drinking mason jars full of mango Kool Aid. However, the hotel staff was a little not up to the Central Park standard.

While the common areas are beautiful, the location great, and the restaurant good what makes this place is the incredible large rooms. Let me list the reasons why I love the room. A real coil spring mattress, A sitting area with overstuffed leather love seat and chair with a coffee table, big wadrobe to put away clothes, 25’ color TV with a bazillion channels, a big window that lets in lots of natural light, an in room safe that is a waist level not ankle level, high speed internet access, all tile bathroom with a big open shower stall (a la DI in Pattaya), enough space to put all your toiletries away, and the chicks dig it! My only bitch would be the crappy light bulbs in the numerous recessed lights, and while the carpet is great now when new we all know what happens to hotel carpet.

For $25 US a night I really like the rooms at the Central Park Hotel. The hospitality show by the staff here is unparalleled. I have never been in a 5* hotel that was attentive as they are here. Bro phenom...since UR expert on Balibago, I have a question for U.
When I was in Balibago last mth, the gals in some bars tell me that if customer pays a permanent barfine 22,000 pesos (abt SGD700)...she will go off with customer for good and not have to return to work again. In other words, very cheap only SGD 700 to buy the gal to be wife, gf etc. It is quite common that the Caucasians do that and bring the gals off for good.
Can U clarify this? Tks. :D

You can pay 22k (or more) or you pay nothing. It all depends on individual cases. Some girls are "bought" by a bar (eg as in paying an agent or scout's fee if the girl is freshly brought from the village), in which case the establishment would want to recoup its "investment".
Other girls are free agents, working in whatever joint they feel like and leaving it whenever they want to.
"Permanent"could also mean a month or so which is usually the length of time when the foreigner is dug in, after which he would leave town.
Generally, the barfine thingy is an instrument by the bar to suck whatever they can from the pussy-chasers. A foreigner mersmerised by a LBFM would pay up the comparitively paltry sum but a street-wise player with whom the chix have an affinity usually pays only for at most a few days and then the gal would just take leave from the bar or leave it for good. This applies especially when the gal is not wet behind the ears and knows that the bar she is working in is only one of about five dozen such joints in Balibago.
For instance, on one of my trips when I could not pre-contact my Starr as her hp was in the repair shop, I had chanced upon her in a new joint very late at night. I paid her bf for that one night as I couldn't wait. Of course, as always, she stayed with me for the following days and she wanted to take leave of absence from the bar. The manager however insisted that I pay a longterm bf for her which make no sense to me and Starr. She just left that bar and worked again at another after I left many days later.
The bars that she worked at previously and subsequently allowed her to take leave whenever I was in town. But these days, she only worked whenever she is bored with nothing to do which averages less than a week in a month.
So as you can see, the situation depends on the establishment, the girl in question and the relation between you and the chix. (If she treat you as nothing but just a money tree, she would let you pay up).
So how would you know you are about to be taken for a ride? You will if you are street-wise or when you have paid your "school fees". ;)
My simple word of advise is if you are in a like scenario, don't part with your 22k (or whatever sum) that easily.

IMHO, sadly, Balibago has quantity of gals but no quality and nothing enticing to take out bar fine...In my recent trip, I bar hopped the bars on 2 consecutivenites and did not find any quality gals ...in many cases, just opening the door and perusing the gals b4 getting out and moving on to next bar. Those bars I stayed to have a drink were those that had good music and good pool tables. Still prefer Manila scene.

They interior decor was okay. Not run down and definitely not high class.

They have a fish tank near the front where u can pick your ger.
Most of the gers I saw are about 18 to 25 and rate about 6/10 to 7/10.
I was told ocassionally there may be much better one there as well.

Open sitting in the main hall available or you can choose a private room which you would need to spend at least P2,000 peso. A group of gers will be performing sexy dancing continuously.

Ger for private booking are charge at P450 to P550 per hour. They drink what ever you drink and hence no high price ladies drink. The gers only earn about P100 for each hour they sit with you.

The private room are just simple room for hanky panky. Most gers are available for quickie at P2000 or just mor here and there. Just tips them at the end of your session.

If you want to bring the ger out, bar fine is P5,000, so not orh it at all.
The gers will however give you their contact number and you can arrange for them to go to your hotel for P3000 (3 hrs) or less.

Any bro can recommend decent hotel for me and my MD rates range from USD100 to 150 per room per night?

If you want 4-5 star on makati
Can try the following:
Mandarin oriental
Hotel New world
Dusit Hotel

Intercon, Shangri la and Peninsula would probably exceeds your budget.
Can also ask somr samster here to help book for you using their corporate rate. Thpse prices can be as low as US$75 for the above 3 hotel.

Remember if price quoted is not nett, then must add +++ which may adds up to 25%

thanks for the info bro.. but my army buddies brought me to this place thats weird... they call it Passig Entertainment Centre (or is it pasai) but then the top of the building say its Edsa Entertainment Centre. concept not bad... bars after bars of ladies in bikini.... problem is must pay bar fine of 1000. and a bottle of Black Lable is 1700. had a gal for LT only 2000.

not sure if i kena robert.. but then so far quite ok.
