An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

following the Wendy Chan case in which NTUC refused to payout for her DPS policy after she became disabled.

http://www.tremeritus.com/2013/09/07...ers-bad-faith/ (http://www.tremeritus.com/2013/09/07/about-wendys-case-and-insurers-bad-faith/)

the above case, the person bought a personal
liability insurance for overseas travel from
NTUC Income, when he checked the policy he was shocked.
He found that it contains a clause that said that the damages must be
ruled by a Singapore court for the claim to be successful!"
How is this possible when the accident is.overseas!
This renders the policy completely useless.

There is.nothing to prevent insurance companies.from acting in bad faith and inserting clauses to.swindle the money of those who buy useless.policies. That is why I requirement that that insurance companies publish historic payout to premium of policies they sell so that ordinary pple can.know.how.claimable their.policies are.

The govt has failed in its.duty to regulate this
.industry letting the run wild
it is a dereliction of duty to allow.such policies to
be marketed
