An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

Right now the PAP is trying to fix the many problems cause by its shortsighted policies.
One minister Yacoob is assigned to try to regulate, control and discredit the Internet.
They call "light and soft" touch.

However, once it becomes clear they cannot win back support so easily from Singaporeans, simply because
their messed up policies caused stagnant wages, declining quality of life and declining affordability of basic necayessities like
healthcare and housing...all cannot be fixed so easily without drastic changes, ....what do you think will happen?

They will blame others like the ordinary Singaporeans for "failing to share their 'vision'", the opposition simply opposing them...and the Internet which is something they want but cannot control.

When this happen, it is likely they will do a modern Operation Coldstore to round up netizens by the hundreds to force them to sign confessions (e.g. I admit I'm am an anarchist) ...and detain a small number for long term to recreate a climate of intense fear.

It is essential to stay anonymous for your own safety and the safety of your family before anything happens. Remember the past authoritarian states ...they may seem okay with free speech for a short while, then suddenly they clampdown by arrests, incarceration etc.

Just remember Leslie Chew, they can just find something to get you...so can you afford this risk?!

How to remain anonymous?

1. Use VPN e.g https://privacy.io/?ref=328219
2. Use TOR http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_(anonymity_network)

Do not live without these precautions. A lot of things we take for granted because has not happen can change easily overnight.
