Minister Ng Eng Hen has already said there is online threat to our total defense. Onhat statement is made it means govt will take action to silence anyone with influence on the Internet that are putting out unflitered information that is not in full agreement with the pap. Dr. Ng says this form of "misinformation" will weaken Singapor. They are ready to act against it. ....starting with Leslie Chew....

Was discussing with a friend how the next few will be targeted. If you look at Leslie case case he draw thousands of cartoons, they look through the collection to find afew that can be used to charge him in court. Once a target just one sentence and they can charge or jail a blogger...no matter how careful it is just a matter of time. The Sedition Act is so broad it can be used easily... within it states that anyone promoting unhappiness against govt ...let me ask you which person expressing an alternative view or criticising the govt does not break this law. Using it the pap govt can arrest anyone critical.

The pap govt can target anyone it choose by going through their blogs. However because there are many bloggers, they will choose most prominent to silence to scare the rest through climate of fear

On their list are likely these targets some of whom early received threats of defamation lawsuits:

1. Alex Au of yawning bread.
2. Vincent wijesinger of SDP.
3. Editors of Temasek Review one of them make the mistake of revealing himself sometime back he might be interrogated for names of others.
4. Editors of The Real Singapore... one of them is thought to be Alex Tan and the rest overseas Singaporeans and ex Singaporeans.
5. Ravi Philemon whom govt is very unhappy with is criticism during haze. They havemost likely targeted waiting for one single mistake to arrest him.
6. Andrew Lah who is now increasing pushing the boundary. PM invited him as one of the bloggers at istana.
7. Christopher Balding if he ever dare to step foot in Singapore they will arrest him immediately
8. Kristen Han ...she is now too young to be arrested and received a foreign human rights scholarship but they are definitely monitoring her closely for her beliefs in human rights.
