Patrick Tan Dun we have other candidates? If my son were to choose a military career in another country, I doubt he'll be awarded such a prestigious scholarship even though he decides to call that country his home...btw, Gen Maung sounds junta lo
Pang Soon Tan I do not mind of deserving foreigners getting any govt scholarship... That's for sure...
But, I still find that defence related scholarships ought to be only given to locals no matter what... It's not about questioning about people's eventual loyalty, but the nature of defence matters is much more sensitive to locals than over other matters..
