Ordering AV from Internet

Hi All!

I juat need some advice if any bros here ever ordered AV dvds or vcds from internet website? I'm sure there are...but when the parcel arrives in Singapore, will it be checked by customs? I know downloading is the way to go but I have no patience for that, would rather order and see the "product". hehe...

normally its depend on your luck whether your parcel will be random checked anot. normally they are scanned thru X ray if the police nv notice the parcel n let cd pass thru ten u lucky loh. if they notice there CD inside.. maybe they will open the parcel or close one @@.

There is ways you can get around it...

Under Board of Film Censors regulations, all "musical", "educational", and "literacy work" are exempted from censorship.

Which means: You can look for companies that do mail orders and are willing to make false declarations on the "USPS PS 2976" (Customs Declaration Form) for you. Normally, you can tell them that you're concerned about privacy and that import duties in S’pore are very high. So ask them a favor to help you. DO NOT say that X-rated materials are illegal in S'pore...chances are they will refuse your order as it against Federal Laws as well.

No, contrary to popular believes. I’m not an ex or current BFS employee. Yes, I do lots of trading with audio-visual materials. No, they are legal and not porn. :p

Since we're on the subject of AV...I think I'll just ask...

Anyone tried ordering the BETTER SEX VIDEO SERIES?
It's from the Sinclair Intimacy Institute (USA) which specializes in Sex Education videos. The company board comprises of bona-fide Medical Doctors, and the materials they produce are more "educational" than "erotica".

This gives the Board of Film Sensors a dilemma:
Educational materials are exempted from censorship
BETTER SEX VIDEOS are educational in nature but contains suggestive sexual content.

They weren’t reachable for comments. However, if I were to order, I would be getting the complete 6 DVD combo set (cheaper) and that would definitely raise some eyebrows at the customs...

What do you think?
