tried once long time ago but never encounter the same situation as you had ... what i find uncomfortable was it feels pricky when putting on underwear ... :p

Sounds interesting, diesel. I have never shaved the pubic area before although 1 of my friends told me that he often trims it.

Some of the gals I came across do shave or trim their pubic hair. I wonder if I would feel uncomfortable if I were to shave or trim it? May be that is why I have not done so. :cool:

agree...many girls detest the short hair that sprouts out, must be painful...that's why must shave almost EVERYDAY..........if anyone has NOT shaved...DON'T :)

personally, i suppose shaving has more plus than minuses for hot-blooded individuals like us (for reasons mentioned by the bros here e.g. hygiene, aesthetics - makes ur penis look longer and balls less like rambutans, feel sexy like porn star etc)

generally safe if done carefully and religiously, and not so prickly once ur skin gets used to it (it's all a matter of getting used to, whether shaving for the first time or letting it grow back out) :rolleyes:

though only problem is how long u can keep this up haha... u might be too short-sighted to shave it every morning in the shower when you are 60 .

or when u go for a 5 day outfield exercise during ur in-camp, it becomes..prickly. haha

After viewing all the comments in this thread, have trimmed my public hair just to see how it looks and feels like.

Agreed, diesel... it does look and feel clean and neat. Have not trimmed nor shaved since my teenage years when the hair started sprouting. Same feeling as when I go for a trim at the hair salon.

Have not gone all the way to shave it off yet...still having doubts on whether it would feel comfortable.

Yah. Shaved once. and once shaved must keep shaving everyday. Damn itchy when the hair start growing out again. Very irritating when in public and you look at the girls then you get excited and your p-nis and balls starts reacting.. very pricking and itchy but cannot scratch in public. and worse thing is when the hair prick your cork it triggers erection so very umcomfortable. Go doctor checkup also pai seh, nurse and doctor give you that look. Go massage palour in changing room other brother stare at your botak brother. try to follow the flow your pubic hair grow..not to shave against it i.e at the pubic region shave it downwards and not upwards..

However hairs grown at a particular place does serve its purpose

I have heard of girls who shave their private areas and they actually derived immense pleasure when a prickly manhood is in the vicinity due to increase sensitivity. However they could also develop rashes due to the sensitivity

I've noticed that after shaving for some time, the hair that grows back tend to lose it's curliness. Also for the prickly hair re-growth sensation, it will go away after awhile. But for the moment, I'm keeping it very neatly trimmed because as mentioned earlier by 1 brudder, it's kinda embarrassing when you go see a Doctor or when you're in the changing room with a shaved pubic area... even trimmed pubic area gets wierd stares but at least less then totally shaved. But from ladies opinions I've heard, alot find a totally shave pubic area arousing, and so is a neatly trimmed area, it goes to show that the guy is hygenic and cares about himself and her.... So there it goes, go weigh the pros and cons...

i've been shaving my pubic hair for many yrs liao...got used to the itchy feeling n now still happily going at it...but shaving cream v important, i find that the gel types r better...hair growth becomes softer

u might want to re-consider shaving there as it would get prickly quite easily!

but if u insist, u can shave the underside of ur balls first n then reach further in to shave ur butt / anal area (use two hands pls)
