BANGKOK: A plan to relieve congestion at Thailand's main Suvarnabhumi International Airport by moving low-cost airlines to the Don Muang Airport should soon cut the number of air passengers at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport by 10,000 per day.
Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited or AOT Vice President Somchai Sawasdipol, who is also Suvarnabhumi Airport Director, confirmed on Tuesday that low-cost airlines are scheduled to move from the Suvarnabhumi International Airport to the Don Muang Airport on Oct 1, 2012, including Thai AirAsia which serves growing passengers, reports Thai News Agency.

Somchai said AOT will also operate shuttle buses between both airports as of Oct 1 to facilitate passengers who need to travel between both airports, with four shuttle buses running from 6am to 10pm every day and departing from both airports hourly through expressways.

Somchai said that the number of passengers at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport should drop by some 10,000 daily, from 130,000 daily now, as of early next month.

Meanwhile, AOT celebrates the 6th anniversary of the Suvarnabhumi International Airport by decorating passenger terminals with world-renowned Thai orchids.

All signs seem to point that BKK is no longer the place to be for tourists who are there for a good time. It appears that gems only pop up occasionally (when BKK is suppose to be a guy's paradise).

Inflation is a bit@h! Mongering/ Cheong/ punting in Singapore is now unattractive due to increased enforcement on hotels and even punters/ cheongsters are not spared from scrutiny(e.g. Recent sex for grades, contract, underaged comm sex).

Many of these are high spenders at higher end of income brackets and taking their Mongering/cheonging/ punting regional thus pushing up prices in regional " playgrounds" like Bkk,hcm.

Also if you are there early before 9pm and ask them for LT plus quote 4000bht, the pretty (=popular) ones will immediately reject....such is the factor of demand vs supply, and cost of inflation due to foreign spending....

I used to prefer Rainbow 4 out of the 3 places visited, but average quality in R4 has really dropped. This time round found it easier to pick girls to my liking in Bacarra and R2 rather than R4, even though R4 easily had twice the number of girls than R2. What I usually spend in a night out at NEP/SC is probably in that ballpark. Say around THB2500 in the bar (incl barfine) plus another THB3500 for LT.

I don't actually think it's that bad. That includes a couple hours of drinking. Laughing, talking cock with the mamasan, waitress, and 1-2 cute 18-20 year olds. Plus sex. Plus a cutie to hug to sleep. Plus wake up to more sex. I think that's quite good deal for around S$250!

And like Soopafly said - the variety is important! For pure price, it's hard to fight with the legal GL thai girls or the Indonesian SWs. But the free-and-easy party in BKK is hard to beat! Or sometimes I like the "luxury" of the amazing saunas in Macau. Or the hardcore intensity of some of China's KTVs (though nowadays getting older... cannot take so much hardcore!).

PS. Despite all the inflation, hotel prices in BKK still reasonable though. Good 5* luxurious hotels at under S$200. Always nice to chill in a posh hotel room!

PPS. I'm curious - where's the usual place to get overnight in Singapore at S$300? I don't P4P much in Singapore apart from the GL150 houses. I remember taking a girl out of a KTV for around that price before, but that doesn't count. Have to pay all the other tips, drinks first!

What Indisnmagicoil quoted matches with my latest experience. And I usually have more than one drink in a night. While I usually pay up to Bht 4,000 for LT (that's my personal max for a stunner), the total damage for a hedonistic night out in Bangkok usually is 6 to 8k (all in).

I'm not surprised. Susie Wong's and its sis bar Sheba's are not in the same league as Baccara or Rainbow. The girls there can't charge the same rates as the first-tier bars.

If it was 1 AM on a midweek nite, the chances that she would get BFd are next to nil. If u show some interest in her, she's gonna jump at the chance to get a customer for the nite.

The problem with the top bars is that the girls are worried about "face". They want to get the B4,000 LT and if they can get more, then they can brag about it to their friends. They won't go lower cause they're afraid someone is gonna find out and they'll lose their reputation. Plus the other girls wll scold them for breaking the "code".

But at Susie Wong's and Sheba's, it's much more casual n the girls dun have to worry about their image. I dun think the girls in these bars get BFd as much as those in Baccara or Rainbow, so if they can get a LT, they're really happy. Also, I think they're friendlier and tend to look for someone they like, a little like the girls in Angeles.

Yes, RB4 used to always start with 4 flrs. So did RB2 and I think RB1. I've been going to RB4 since it opened and they have always had only 1 fl with the younger girls. That doesn't mean that there aren't any lookers in the other 3 fls, like #100.

The bars seem to have new (to me) drink menus. Bottled beers and most hard drinks are now B190!

The BF for go go dancers and hostesses has gone up to B800, but falls to B700 after 10 pm. It shoots up to B1,600 or B1,800 (can't remember) on holidays (and probably holiday eves).

Rio has stopped its all day, every day draft beer special, except for Mon-Wed. But they kept the draft beer price at B90 (thank god) instead of raising it to B110 like all the other bars in the group did a long time ago.

And all the bars have eliminated happy hour. I used to go during HH a lot until they started having coyote dancers. The coyotes don't start dancing until 9 pm so u couldn't see them during HH. Plus sometimes during HH the go go dancers weren't taking their tops off. Sahara never had a HH.

Deja Vu

If u r into coyotes, this bar has more of them than any other on SC. At one time they can have 18 coyotes dancing - 13 on the main stage and 1 each on the 5 satellite stages.

I like this bar because it's big and roomy. Some of the Golden bars like Kiss are so tight that they have signs warning u not to kick the panels or u will be made to pay for any damage. It's so big that the back corners are somewhat private so u can do some roaming on the coyotes.

The coyotes here are also hot. Some of them do the "itchy ear" dance, which is amazing.

And the coyotes here are young, like teens, while some of the other bars tend to have older, quieter coyotes. There's quite a bit of turnover, so there are usually many new girls.

There's one coyote named Fai that maybe is not a super SYT but seems to be nice. Like her trim body. The coyotes don't have badges but she has a scar on her lower belly from an appendix operation.

The Golden Group of bars have so many coyotes now, that I think the quality has gone down a little. They used to have some real stunners like May at Sahara, but now most of them are run-of-the-mill. They aren't any different than go go dancers used to be.

Got to know all these info about the Arab bar from a farang guy whom I talked to later in a beer bar one afternoon. He claims he is regular in BKK nightlife. When I came back home, I googled and found his claims not unfound.

I agree, IMO Baccarra girls are the most pretty in all GoGos. However only a few are friendly. Most important of all, they are expensive. Standard LT min. 4000, ST 3000. This is because they cater more to Japs and Japs pay big bucks. I only go there for eye candy.

The better organized agogos in Pattaya including Bacarra Walking Street, Happy agogo, Superbaby etc had a pole rotation system that each girl moving from pole to pole per song playing, seating customers can easily view all of them.

This is easy to implement without any extra cost to the agogos. In the case of too many girls for a small stage, then the agogo should have a higher girl rotation frequecy using a 3 girls up-3 girl down per song system.

I have been going to the Arab’s bars since he started by taking over Spice Girls. Maybe it was known as Cowboy I. I have been bitten by his pricing a couple times. Once was when I bought a dancer a LD and it was a coke, then the next nite I went back and she asked for a LD and came back with a beer. I looked at the drink menu and found that they had two prices for LDs. She never asked me if she could order the more expensive beer.

The second time was when I saw a sign for HH and went inside and ordered a OJ. Then I was shocked when the price was more than double the HH price on the sign. I got ticked off and tried to leave and the door guys started to block my way. Though I was going to get pounded but a waitress rushed out and showed me the menu. Apparently the OJ was discounted during HH but not to the price shown on the sign. Unlike other bars, the HH price was not for all local drinks.

Altho the GG bars’ pricing is a little tricky, everything is on the drink menu, and unlike other bars, there are many menus lying around. The important thing for the GG bars is to study the menu carefully!

I myself have witnessed several times when customers seemed surprised to see their bill and disputed the amount. However, these customers looked like noobs or carrots and were letting coyotes, go go dancers, waitresses, mamasans, bartenders, etc buy LDs. These girls can easily see that these guys are dodos and will take advantage of them. I buy one draft beer and leave. I don’t buy any coyote drinks. So I never have had a problem so far.
As has been mentioned by others, even by Stickman in his latest column, the quality of the dancers has really gone down. RB4 is the worst. U can only see a quarter of the dancers depending on where ur sitting.

Tilac is also good cause the girls on the center stage move around. If a girls sees u and likes u or thinks u like her and will buy her a LD, she’ll be sure to come dance near u. That’s why I always sit by the stage at Tilac. The dancers on the satellite stages, of course, dun move around so if u can’t see them, ur out of luck.

Once, went to the third floor in Deja Vu and met Ah Fan who was eating, then, making up there. One fierce puying complained loudly about me in their third floor area. That puying opened her mouth wide with big eyes and SHUT UP. I grinned at her :D.

Yes I have experienced that too. Once I was in Angeles city and wandered into a bar off Diamond subdivision. I did not know that this was an ex-servicemen bar frequented former Australian soldiers. When I entered the bar I was the only Asian inside and there were about 6 other customers all angmohs.

There were about 15 bar girls working in this bar and whichever girl came to sit with me, one of the angmohs would call her away by buying LD for her. The 6 of them took turns to do this with every girl that came to me.

Soon I caught on to what was happening. I called the mamasan over and bought her a DLD + gave her 200p as tips when she sat down. I instructed her to give all the girls who are not sitting with any customers a DLD, including the cashier and waitresses. I also handed out 100p tips to any girl that came to my table. Within minutes my table was full of girls, and when those girls who were with the angmohs saw what was happening they also came over but I told mamasan to tell them to go back to their customers. Some of them did not want to and said they wanted to sit with me.

It certainly felt good to turn the tables on those angmohs and I loved the look on their faces when I left the bar later. :p

They will not quote u a lower price inside the agogo bar. I remember they even had cards to show ST and LT rates to customers who have difficulty understanding their english! The less popular ones are afraid that they will be found out and get ostracised by the others.

That is not to say they will not lower their price...as bro IMC mentioned they will do it for various reasons, and esp if they like u (cos u narak and presentable) or enjoy your company (sweet talker).

You can get their number and tell them the amount u willing to pay, if she's interested. But exchange numbers discreetly as it is frowned upon. She may contact u after work or if she's got no other customers. Sometimes even the next day she may be willing to go with u and miss work....but they may ask u to help pay her fine for not turning up for work....depending on the day.

For a higher chance to get LT with the popular ones, if they met their quota and like u, plus prospects of going out party, they may agree to it. The other way is to barfine ST first, and if she had an enjoyable time, she may agree to go out to party, and after that go back with u again! If chances are she did not negotiate with u for LT fees, then she would prob be happy with the ST fees and whatever tips u give her.

if u r able to hit the quota, i think there is no restriction to their timings. An ang pai which i bf told me she nvr work beyond 130am. she is doing part time degree, sometime cant go LT and even have to knock off early. she is able to hit the quota so no issue for her.

Some will go as far as pay the bar fine but not stay with the girl coz he has gone back home. So a girl with regulars can hit her quota of bar fines easily.

Next is the lady drinks. Girls get around Bht50-60 a drink but this is peanuts. The real money comes from the ST & LT they charge. Usually standard rates applies (Bht2,500 St & Bht4,000 LT) but as me and many other bros have explained to you, discounts can be given for certain situations & circumstances.

For LT..i always make sure i state the price and time for her to go. no complete foolproof but chances of been aeroplaned are lower. all in all... heng sway lah. so far... i only had 1 case of running off at 5am after 1 pop. Haha similar thing happened to me last year . Booked SYT for LT at RB4 at about 11pm. Brought her to other bars and later supper.
