Actually every hotels don't check IC, they just need your IC for registration :D

All hotels need a NRIC or passport to register. Its against the law not to register.

You may want to check out your friends who might be willing to lead a room.

It is part of the regulation.
All hotels need either one guest to register himself/herself when checking in.
You can't round away from that.
Hotels will not risk their licenses to bend the rules for a few people.
Drive/park your car at a quiet corner and do your car-rocking there.:)
