After reading the news on the AIDS masseuse working in North Bridge Road (see below), a group of us went there for lunch to take a look. After our lunch, we walked around and amazed to see there are at least 15-20 sneaky massage parlours along the North Bridge Road and nearby - Jalan Sultan.

We randomly went to a few and inside, we can see many sexily dressed masseuse throwing themselves at us. We were quoted $30 for 30 minutes of massage, followed by $50 for handjob, $80 for blow job and $120 for full sex. We politely rejected them and went to the other shops, and of course, rejected them as well

From what we observed, majority of these massage parlours do provide these extra services. Most of these shops are quite small and some dimly lighted. Some look like those poorly hygiene brothels you normally see it in Hong Kong movies.

We're not sure if these masseuses operate with licenses or they go for health screening. If they provide blow job, that's oral sex, diseases such as herpes could be passed around easily. We're also not sure if they use condoms when they engage in sexual intercourse with customers.

We would not be surprised if the rumour of the AIDS positive masseuse working in North Bridge Road is true. What we're surprised is why there are so many massage parlours operating in this manner without being shutdown by the authority.

There is no point for MOH to keep telling us every year that the number of HIV patients are increasing annually when we allow such spread of HIV diseases through the means of such massage parlours in North Bridge Road and many other places.

It's illegal to provide sexual services in massage parlours. Why the police did not clamp down on these parlours?

A masseuse has been rumoured to have AIDS, causing her clients to freak out and rush for blood tests.

A local sex forum posted about a masseuse named Coco, who is known to offer “special services”. She disappeared recently, with her colleagues having no idea where she was.

Ironically, it was her disappearance that led to a heated discussion online, with forumers guessing that she might have contracted AIDS.

Her previous clients started panicking and went for HIV tests. Coco is described as being a Singaporean in her early 20s, with a sexy figure and warm attitude. She established a large fan base of regular clients shortly after entering the profession.

Coco worked at a massage parlour along North Bridge Road. Her regular clients have not been able to locate her, and even those who called to make appointments were requested to identify themselves.

A forumer said that he called a few days ago to make an appointment with Coco, only to end up speaking to an irate woman asking if he even knew Coco in the first place. The man was asked if he had "heard the online rumours" and was made to describe Coco in detail. It seems to him that Coco is only taking appointments from regular clients now.

Another forumer who claimed to be a regular client of Coco said that he had not seen her the last few times he visited the massage parlour.
