Batam for a day trip?

I wonder if anyone can help advise....
I am thinking of going to batam for a day trip walkaround with lunch and then probably checkin to a hotel for a romp with my bf. Haha
Is it possible to do a 'transit' checkin at batam?

Batam hotels r not that expensive - For a better romp, suggest u stay ard Holiday Inn with pool view. ;)
