Now there is Island Wide Raids going on. Yesterday i have been to Pearl Ctr and all the Tuina have been raided and almost all has been closed. This includes all the Tuina on the 3rd floor. This was the only good one i found in this Ctr. Dun no will they be back or not. Only 3 or 4 HC's were left open with some ugly oldies. After this i went to PP and found the same there. Almost all tuinas left closed.

The island raid of these vice activities has made the situation really out of control to an extend.

Initially, when they target only the FLs, I thought they are controlling and confining these vice activites by restricting them to go at designated places like tuina shop, HC and HDS. I think worst is:-

Then with 'divide & rule' scae interrogation tactics, seperate interviews & playing one's words against another, somebody will panic & start to admit, this evidence then used to compromise another then AV have good case for DPP to press charges.....

My read into the AV raid situation is like this.

The battle between AV and the pros will always go on. As a country prosper and guys having more spending power, pros will naturally increase. This is the situation not just in Singapore but all over in the developed countries. It takes AV and a lot of resources to conduct such raids - intelligent feeds from the targetted areas, size of AV force to conduct an effective raid, logistics that come from such raids which includes temp housing for suspected vice operatives etc. AV is also not just focus in curbing the WL activities but also looking at illegal gambling locations, drug addicts hangouts, illegal transactions on contraband items etc - so we see that AV are stretched at this moment. Unless of course AV goes on a mass recruitment drive where they can have more resources.

We are in an interesting phase of nation growing. Particularly so after the procreation policies are announced and in place. Remember that it take 9 months for a baby to be born and for single guys, this exclude the time the guy meets the girl he likes, marry and agree to have one. For married couples, it takes a shorter time. So when you are looking at these AV raids, the way I see it is to create a 'scare' tactic (what with the media coverage) particularly so for the married men as these married guys can help improve the birth rate fastest. This 'scare' tactics should continue for about 1-2 months before we see it tapers off again.

We are in a phase as a country where we are liberalising certain previous taboos (such as bar top dancing and more censorship ratings, planning for casinos etc) All these introductions will affect existing marital relationships. That's why we are seeing a rise in divorce rates and marriage counselling. So these procreation policies would not see much positive effects until after 1-2 years optimistically. I felt that to have a healthy birthrate, the government emphasis would not be so much as in the AV raids as it is not the majority of guy that go to GL, HCs, KTVs etc but on the nurturing and creation of a healthy lifestyle where interaction between opposite sex are encouraged

With a strong AV presence and prolong raids, it can also produce adverse effects like some bros in the previous posts pointed out. Already we are seeing these pros making inroads to HDB estates and being more daring to expose themselves in the daylight. The customers of WLs are not silly either, if Singapore prove intimidating, they will look at alternative locations such as neighbouring countries. It's like riding a horse - the AV sometime have to pull (rein in such activities) and sometimes have to let go but on the whole they have to curb or rather control the activities of WLs.

So there you have it guys - my analysis of these AV raids. If you are realy horny and do not want the risk of being caught at this moment, try alternative locations, if not wait out this period and then ... :)

My two cents worth of comments:

The current raids carried out by the various authortries is in rsponse to the complains receviced from the public and the media. But if one thinks carefully: for the government to completely stop such activites in Sg is almost impossible i.e. if there is a demand there will be a supply but on the other hand, if they wants to carry out a major clean out operation say in GL, it won't be too taxing on their resources to completely surround GL with law enforcement officers. Once done, they can carried out search and deport mission at their own time!. Even if they just question the individual gers caught in the net and release them one at the time, these gers will be scare to death. I suspect that such raids are also carried out more as a response to fighting among the customers, pimps or among the gers themselves. We must always remember that our government is extremely efficient, there are so many top scholar in the various ministries who are paid to do nothing but to think how to solve the problem, so long as these night activities are restricted to DRA and it is kept to the minimium such raids will slow down.

We should not be too worry or concern about such raids, these gers that came to sg to sell themselves should know the risk involved. The only advantage that we have is that we will always have new stock. For those who are worried about such raids, he can go to our neighbouring countries to cheong peacefully. Afterall airfare is so cheap to as far as China

I do not know what kind of punishing has being meted out to FL or WL etc while in Sg, but FYI for China gers caught working as pros in overseas countries kenna 'jia luck, jia luck' when they landed in China. Allow me to share my experience:

I am a frequent traveller to Guangzhou China and have most time use China Southern airline. There was once, while boarding the aircraft, I noticed two group of PRC man and gers has already board the aircraft b4 us. The thing that strike me was that all the men wear ball cap and the gers are all young and beautiful. Happened my seat is next to one of these gers. I noticed she was dead tired. While the aircraft was in the air, I asked her why the male passengers don remove their cap. She told me they are all overstayers and part of their punishment is caning and also their head is shaved. She also told me that she was caught while working as a FL in GL. I took the opportunity to ask her what kind of punishment she receviced? she told they were locked up and questioned. At the end of the questioning they were required to leave the country at the next available flight. irregardless of their final destination. I told her as she wasn't sent to jail or fine then it is not that bad for her. Was told that the biggest worry is when they landed in China cos they will be detained by the gong ann and perhaps sent to jail with a heavy fines. She told me the money she make in Sg may not enough to pay the fines. The worst part is that after the orderly at the gong ann she still has to find a way to go home which is somewhere in the north. Although I pity her there is nothing much I can do and wish her all the best.

I dono how to agree with you. But when I was in Jakarta scene, I meet up with gals who fly abt these areas. In each country they have a limited number of days of stay. So after their time is up in that country, they move abt, running from country to country around s.e. asia. Usually from indonesia to singapore, then to thailand, philipines, then to here and there and so fore. Of course, they are keep by thr pimps. Of course I pity them, and they are so young. Beautiful? You bet.

Sometime really makes me wonder where their $$$ goes to. to the boss or themselves. Of course, I believe that our AV and ICA has notice this trend and literally stop these gals immediately upon arrival in singapore.

In airport, I heard that if they are from china, and you come alone, young beautiful, they bar you from entering. in the cause way, they stop you for question and so on. Sercurity? If you got friends there, it is not a problem. True if you roam the streets alone. Not advisable. Go by transport. with locals. Depends on where you go to also. I admit that it is cheaper if you go jakarta than in Batam. And picking up of gals are much easier and cheaper, better quality and selection in Jakarta than in batam.

Taxis in Batam can a rip off if you ask them to bring you to find gals. Check out with the old birds here... Like DNAT and Batam Man... Both are good at batam. THere are few other famous samsters in Jakarta too.. check the internation thread.

Might as well legalised them and have them under control, just like the Geylang Red Light district. I rather bonk in a place where I can feel assured that the gals are regularly sent for health checkup.

Being wishy and washy, the sillypore lawmakers will eventually find that they, while getting more income through the fines (by owners of these KTVs and HC that are raided), are facing yet other more diverse problems, which might, who knows, give them even more income through fines. It is like serving as a mercenary fire fighting service, putting out small fires but not the root cause, and they just forever keep putting out fires to ensure they have a job security and income.

The only best way to this KTV and HC issues is to legalised the activities within.

The reason that I don normally engage the services of PRC NN in Sg is that I have a couple of very close ger friends in China spreading from north to south region. I always tried to make it a point to make a special trip to visit each of them a year just for charging my battery! If I were to engage PRC MM services in sg which is extremely rare, I will don normally bargain unless the rate is above the market rate. Please do not think I am 'loaded' or sympathies them, but I always believe if you pay peanut you got monkey in return! However if you do your calculation well you will notice that ST six bonk in sg is equal to about 5 days stay with nightly KTC visit and 24 hrs B & R so which do you pick?

As a veteren in China, I have seen extremely beautiful gers in China especially in Northern China. I have also met mixed blood gers (Japanese/Chinese, Russian/Chinese etc) the look and the beauty is beyond words of description. You can stare and look at them day after day night after night and u won't get tired. These gers don need to go aboard to make a living. Those gers we seen in GL are actually so call expired items in their own countries! (No offense to any bros reading this post)

I just receviced a request from a ger who is married to a Malaysian to take care of her younger sister who has just arrived in sg with two of her friends. Out of cusrosity ask them how much their parents paid for their stay in sg for 2 years. The answer was 5 figure in RMB just for commission to 'agent' for helping them to process the necessary documents, it does not include the amt required to live in sg etc. Won't dare to think how they going to live here for two years knowing that their parents cannot afford to feed them!. I suspect the population in GL will soon goes up by 3.

Sure glad to share my experience with you. It is a big world out there in China. Sometimes you meet a good one sometimes you meet a bad one, just like in GL. But most of the time u will meet the good one eagerly to please and make u feel like a king. The big difference is that you don have to pay through your nose for your service like in sg. More inmportant you don have to fear the AV. But bear in mind that their Kong ann is very notorious for shaddy dealing, touch wood until today except for once almost caught by their AV, I didn't have major problem with them.

I think that charging is definitely a must cos you have to incur expenses such as telephony, courrier, running here and there to lay foundations and get approval when you could have spent the time dpong other rewarding chores.

But the current blood suckas squeeze them dry. Imagine get a visa for travel is less than RMB1k (I do not want to specify, but it is true) if they do it personaly at BJ. Why are people charging RMB8k to 15k? The most ridiculous I have heard is 25k, excluding airfare and a bloody bed was SG400/mth in a miserable HDB flat with no air-con. The gal felt so cheated and offered herself to me for SGD250 to top-up her own cash, just so that she can get a ticket back to CN.
I have been offered to help to get people to be a guarrantor for gals and for that simple chore I would have made SGD500/gal

They can do that cos behind those that do not come in from agencies are the agents, heard that can do guarantor for 5gals at a time
So if they narrow down on these people, blacklist them then........

AV activities seldom concntrate on TAM and its surrounding areas. one of the reason i tink, is tat situation there are better controlled as compared to other joints at GL, GL and Tg katong. activities in the room are also very restricted, therefore they close one eye in tat area.

one told me this, well this days no doubt all the officer have the intelligence up in the brain but they will lose out in terms of field intelligence which is what is happening in sillypore.......... too much emphasis on paper qualification ..........

in a certain ktv which i went to about 6 months ago, the mummy brought the GM into our room to help PR us cos we have been going there regularly, either for entertaining our clients and for our own enjoyment. that night in our room when the GM was in the room, he got a call from the background boss saying that someone has made an official complaint to the police about the hanky panky going on in the establishment and they are on their way to make a specific raid on the place. we were then moved to another ktv in the same building and continued with our drinking at no extra charge and even brought our drinks over. hmm... ;)

who is going to suffer in the end? we cheongsters, if they are too on the ball. but on the other hand, our precious hard-earned money will end up flowing out of the country as remittance. so how? :confused:

To my knowledge, if in action, they can actually bring you back to station for indecent exposure or act (since you may be naked or half naked lying on the bed with the gal). Well, you may argue that you are inside the cubicle which is a private place. But under the law, any private place which is open to the access by the public can be considered a public place. That is one reason. The other reason is that they ask you to follow them back to station to assist them in their investigation ( how many times you visit them? do you know them well? who else with you?) If not, they may just check your particulars or IC and let you go off and fly kite somewhere else (unlikely to happen. They dare not take the risk).
In the coming weeks, expect raids to rain on these places due to year end bonus coming. Must show that they are around and working. Making their presence known. I went around a few places and believe places like JC, JSP and PC and PPC will get maybe one more round of visit by the hunters!
