Hi all. I'm currently a student and studying in some school out there.
One day I was walking around the school after lesson and I spotted some girls hanging around the study bench. Wanting to impress them, I decided to do a couple of pull ups on the pull up bar close to the bench.
As I'm a canoeist, doing pull ups is pretty much routine stuff and I could handle about 27 in a single set. Hence, I pretended to look real cool and even put on my shades while walking over. I did my pull ups and had some occasional glimpse at the girls while on the bar, but only to realize that they wasn't even looking over. Feeling depressed, I decided to head back home.
Suddenly, one on the girls shouted out "hey! You left your laptop over there!"
I turn my head over and saw my laptop under the pull up bar. I hurried over and picked it up. Before leaving, I thanked the girl and gave her a big smile.
The girl smiled back. OMG. She's very pretty and obviously my type of girl. But having no reason to find a chance to talk to her, I decided to go home.
Over the next few days, I tried to spot her in school but to no avail. Finally, i saw one of the girl that hanged out with her the other time round. I decided to follow her and hope that she can bring me to the pretty girl. Indeed, she headed back to a bench where the pretty girl was sitting at.
I walked over and the pretty girl looked up. I smiled once again, but she gave me a blank look. Hais, she has forgotten me. Trying to prevent the awkwardness, I walked away quickly. However, I overheard them saying that they need to hurry for the next lecture already.
"ehs, I also got lecture what, don't tell me tat i so heng, same lecture group" I thought to myself.
Indeed, they were from the same lecture group upon finding them at the lecture theatre. I found my friends and sat with them. And I was super heng. The pretty girl and her clique decided to sit at the row in front of mine.
Throughout the whole lecture, I was only copying stuff from my friend, and couldn't be bothered to listen to the lecturer. I spent the time looking at the girl instead.
Soon my friend (george) realize that I kept looking at the pretty girl. He gave me an evil smile and shouted out "eh Vanessa! This guy keep looking at you lehs, hahaha."
Oh so her name is vanessa..
Vanessa turned over and looked at me. My face turned red. I told George "not funny lah"
Vanessa's friends giggled. Both of us were embarrassed and hence listened to the lecturer attentively afterwards.
After the lecture, george walked over and said "Aiya u no chance one la, Vanessa is so hot, confirm got those hotter guys can get her one."
I said "I very bad meh? At least I run faster than you, am fitter, smarter than you right."
George said "relax la bro. I not saying u nt good, but then Vanessa is the type with a lot of boyfriends and none of them lasts for a month. She's not ur type one, I swear."
Upon hearing that, I was pretty disappointed. But it seems that my 'playboy' instinct is unleashed.
