Go to the club call "V6" , it is a local joint like our "dragon fly", but all the girls are available for pick-up. rate at usd$30 to Usd$50 as well.

As for the park royal hotel ,"music club". i think the entrance fee is $5 not $10.

1) Park Royal i think is 4 star, if u book from travel agent can get $50 per night, usually $75 or $80, in addition, dont hv to pay the $5 entrance fee.
2) both disco u mentioned i never been & never heard, but when i was in chinatown this CNY for dinner, i pass by 1ktv & 1disco, look damm rundown than Geylang joint (haha).
3) my gal n one mummy never recommend tat joint so i didnt go. i suggest u go safe joint rather than those local joint which later invite trouble, as u know its a COM... country. (except V6, i been there twice)
4) i forgot there's additional charge for bring gal up the room, collect by the hotel ($15).. quite exp.

I was very impressed with the local people manner and attitude in dealing with tourists. Best of many countries I have traveled in East Asia and SouthEast Asia.

Depends on what you want bro, if you like "green surroundings" then you can try Kandawgyi Palace; if you want "concrete surroundings" then just take either Parkroyal or Traders

I don't think I can offer much help to you.

Trader Hotel in Yangon is a big building close to Park Royal. I have never stayed at the Trader, but I did look at the lobby of Trader Hotel. Impression was a solid 4* property. No idea if Trader is guest friendly..

The Strand Hotel is the most expensive 5* facilitiy in Yangon. I went for drink in its coffee house. The Strand appeared colonial style influenced by the Brits.

(2)You no need to book or get contact to go there. You just ask your taxi driver to send there. There will be bell boy or security guards at the hotel (who will open the taxi door for you) and let them know you want to go for massage.
(3)If you want a special service (FJ)to those massage girls, you have to nego with them directly. Also you can ask the security guards or waiter.
(4)If you don't want those steps, I advice you to go the places that i refer. You can easily see alots of girls and they will come to you.
(5) MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IS SAFETY IS THE MUST.

Another advice, if u book single occupancy, u have to pay USD10 girl fee to the hotel when u tapao back. My recommendation is to book double occupancy. Same costs and get 2 breakfast. Silly parkroyal system.

Internet connection sucks. For free internet, stay in Parkroyal orchid club floor. Its more expensive if stay in regular floors and pay internet surcharge.

Share with you a story. My company recently purchased a new Pajero 4D for my MD. The price in Myanmar is around USD320,000 ( due to taxes). Imagine the most common denomination is 1000kyats ( around USD1). We actually used 1 car to carry 21 PP plastic sacks of money to buy this Pajero.

When we arrive at the dealership, we were ushered in a room. There were 6 staff waiting to count the money. They took 2 hours.

All these while, from our office to the dealership, no bodyguard is required.

If u rob a rich looking people in Myanmar, u can expect to get much cash :D. Everyone carries cash there.

4) What do you do with the excess kyats before you leave Myanmar, can we change it back to US$ at close to the rate we buy?
5) Is it advisable to carry my passport at all times with me for checks by authorities ?
6) Is there any black areas that we should avoid while in Yangon and other popular tourist towns there?

My view,
You can carry both US $ and kyats. But it's illegal to accept US$ from tourist. Once you arrive to YGN airport, there is a Foreign exchange counter (open by government) Tourist must change minimum 300$ or something like that with US$ equivalent special note called FEC. You can sell them back once you reach your hotel reception. You no need to go around and ask people for the money changer as there is none. It's illegal to buy dollar from tourist but you can change every where. But remember you have to pay hotel charges with US$ or FEC.
You no need to carry around your passport as you need to give at the hotel.
There are some black area for foreigners. Like you go Aung San Suu Kyi house :). But not alot.
You can change back to dollar when you go back. Just easily ask the reception counter (price may be abit different but it's not much)
Like "pearl" say, it's very safe in Myanmar. Much much better than malaysia.

1) Carry USD la.. Ks too bulky. Change as u need.
2) All transaction in Ks. Only major outlets accept USD like hotels.
3) Best place is to change at Panorama Hotel lobby. If not too much, just change at your hotel. Difference is not much and its much more convenient.
4) Excess Ks u keep lo or donate. I know Parkroyal doesnt change it back for you.
5) No need to bring passport out.
6) All area are safe but dont go gung-ho and walk into an unlighted street. If intuition screams BEWARE, just dont do it.

I never changed once into FEC. How it looks like I also dont know. By the way. 1 USD = 1 FEC.

If u change at airport, they might use official Government FEC rate which is FEC 1 = 6 Ks. Outside rate is USD 1 = 970ks ( yesterday rate). Change FEC liao sure regret like hell.

There is a lot of money changers in Yangon. Mostly located in Chinatown. For convenience sake, change in Hotel.

Singapore embassy is the most troublesome. But as long as you get the Visa, its ok liao.

You can always use travel agent in Singapore, HK, or Bangkok to get Myanmar visa. The agents collect passports and apply in bulk numbers, and these agents are very close to these visa issuers, in BKK, they even have expensive same day service. I think the VOA will be back after the junta winning the election by big margin as expected.

1) Carry USD la.. Ks too bulky. Change as u need.
2) All transaction in Ks. Only major outlets accept USD like hotels.
3) Best place is to change at Panorama Hotel lobby. If not too much, just change at your hotel. Difference is not much and its much more convenient.
4) Excess Ks u keep lo or donate. I know Parkroyal doesnt change it back for you.
5) No need to bring passport out.
6) All area are safe but dont go gung-ho and walk into an unlighted street. If intuition screams BEWARE, just dont do it.

Dont worry:) Myanmar taxi driver not cunning like vietnam taxi driver:rolleyes: In general, I find that most of Myanmar people are very honest and friendly.
Just agreed on the price before getting on the cab. BTW, Myanmar taxi has no a/c and meter. Most of them prefer their own currency. Usually cost around 1500-2000 kyat to travel around. Can bargain with them:)

I just back from Yangon, Myanmar. First of all everything is very safe even near election and people are honest and sincere.

Asia Plaza is no longer operated and I visited to JJ. Here's some few information for you guys:

- Entrance fee is 3,000 Kyats
- Overnight charges is around 30,000 Kyats
- Models will asking more than doubles but more pretty and sexy
- Actual exchange rate: 1 USD is 900Kyats
- taxi cost me 3000Kyats from JJ to my hotel at Inya road
- JJ is near MINGALAR MARKET

By the way, there is one hotel "MINGALAR GARDEN" near Singapore Embassy at Shwegon Daing Road. They can manage to call the girls for you.

Absolutely agreed that Yangon is a safe place then SEA country. My last managed to pick up a Chinese mix with Singh. So ideal for me with fair complexion yet with SIngh feature and body. One of the worst places to visit just for Girls, If on business then its ok.
Been there for three night. first night at Park Royal and then changed over to Traders.

Park Royal: a 2.5 star hotel, very basic and the worst lobby i have been in a long time. very overrated hotel.

Park Royal Music Room: One of the most overrated discos/Club in yangon, Ladies here are with a big attitude, demanding 70 to 100USD per night. Being my first night I picked up a good looking lady, after some bargain and agreeing for USD.80 for the night, it was around 12:15 midnight, going back to the room, the reciption informs there will be an additonal charge of 15USD for the guest, says this is theri new policy from 1 April 2011, agree and ask them to charge to my room. Once in the room the lady gets quickly into the bathroom locks the door, showers and comes out in a towel. then i follow with my shower and come back, once in bed she says no BJ of any type "we ladies from music room not like other ladies - we dont do BJs" then she just palys with the Jr. till he is stiff puts on a condom, I ask her to come on top - once again no only missionary style. once we finish she rushes back to the bath room and comes out dressed, i reminde her she needs to stay till morning, she says ok, but doesnt want to undress, and sleep, I pay her and ask her to go and have a good sleep.

Traders: Much better hotel, a little higher rate then Park Royal, no additional charges to bring the ladies for the night.

Asked the bell boy and told him of my experiance at Park Royal, He said that yes the Ladies at park royal think they are queens as a lot of Japanese and we asians have spoilt them overpaying and pampering them, He suggested I go to Emperor - So went there for the next two eveings, too many good looking ladies and they ask for 40USD for the full night but quickly settle for 25 to 30, good attitude, though not very experiaced with sex, reluctent BJs, but stay with you as agreed, much much better then the famous Music Room.

One of the worst places to visit just for Girls, If on business then its ok.
Been there for three night. first night at Park Royal and then changed over to Traders.

Park Royal: a 2.5 star hotel, very basic and the worst lobby i have been in a long time. very overrated hotel.

Park Royal Music Room: One of the most overrated discos/Club in yangon, Ladies here are with a big attitude, demanding 70 to 100USD per night. Being my first night I picked up a good looking lady, after some bargain and agreeing for USD.80 for the night, it was around 12:15 midnight, going back to the room, the reciption informs there will be an additonal charge of 15USD for the guest, says this is theri new policy from 1 April 2011, agree and ask them to charge to my room. Once in the room the lady gets quickly into the bathroom locks the door, showers and comes out in a towel. then i follow with my shower and come back, once in bed she says no BJ of any type "we ladies from music room not like other ladies - we dont do BJs" then she just palys with the Jr. till he is stiff puts on a condom, I ask her to come on top - once again no only missionary style. once we finish she rushes back to the bath room and comes out dressed, i reminde her she needs to stay till morning, she says ok, but doesnt want to undress, and sleep, I pay her and ask her to go and have a good sleep.

Traders: Much better hotel, a little higher rate then Park Royal, no additional charges to bring the ladies for the night.

Asked the bell boy and told him of my experiance at Park Royal, He said that yes the Ladies at park royal think they are queens as a lot of Japanese and we asians have spoilt them overpaying and pampering them, He suggested I go to Emperor - So went there for the next two eveings, too many good looking ladies and they ask for 40USD for the full night but quickly settle for 25 to 30, good attitude, though not very experiaced with sex, reluctent BJs, but stay with you as agreed, much much better then the famous Music Room.

try YGN bar at Yangon Interntional hotel, different variety there fri nite and sat nite is the best, tourist free entry, rate is around USD60 to 70 for a nite plus there is plenty of expat there who is in for NSA fun too and also some rich local MILF there to pick up for NSA fun. If not than music club at Park Royal can bargain the price down to around USD60 a nite.

Hello all bros who are in Myanmar or are going to Myanmar, as I just came back from this trip I would like to share some info about this place.
From the airport I took a taxi to Traders Hotel, it cause me USD$7 to the hotel, ETA around 40-45mins depending on the traffic condition, please do tell the taxi driver in advance you are only paying USD$7 and it doesn't only brings you to the hotel but to the city center as well.
Change your money in the market for better rate, DO NOT CHANGE AT THE AIRPORT OR HOTEL, WORST RATE EVER. BRING NEW AND CLEAN USD, THEY REJECT SPOILED NOTES. and for good food head down to Chinatown, they got some great BBQ food.
I book my hotel through the travel agent so it is cheaper, only paid USD$60 a night. My advice is to book through travel agent in yangoon so hotel rates would be revised or else a night at Traders would easily be around USD$140. I book for 4nights.
So check in as usual do city tour and just get ready for the night activation. Soon it was at night, around 8pm I started heading to Emperor, it is just at the back of Traders, will take around 3mins of taxi ride, I paid 1000kyat, and usually if they pick you up at the lobby they will charge more like 2000-5000kyat because you are staying in Traders, so what I do is to go out of the lobby and turn right, walk straight and by the main road I flag a cab.
All cab would know where Emperor is.
Once drop at the building, go up the stairs turn right see the lift, take only the right one because the left can't lead you to the club. Sorry I forgot which floor Emperor is.
Once I reached emperor, as I was alone, I was greeted by the waiter, each waiter have a number tag, so normally if you want to call the waiter, tell them the number. They will then lead you to a table. 1 can of Myanmar beer is 5000kyat inclusive of entrance. Atmosphere wise is kind of unique because I don't think Singapore have this type of concept and I find it interesting, it is one third club (with a dance floor) one third hang flower and one third Ktv, so it actually cater to all our needs of having fun.
Lets move on to the girls, the look of the girls are average nothing to shout about, after seating down there are some girls that will come and seat with you, you can reject them if you want, I'm lucky to have this girl her name is Zin Mar, petit size, average looking but with high girlfriend feeling, have a great chat and then decided to bring her back. Mamasan came, chat with a little and left, (no need to pay for mamasan).
Reach back to hotel, (no hotel girl fee), went back to the room, had a really great night with her, she treated me like a boyfriend, went into the room we straight away french and started removing our clothing and she gave me a good bbbj. i came back from my trip to Myanmar.
i only spent a day there so time to chiong was limited.

visited Myanmar with an ang moh colleague and we stayed at the Sedona hotel
after our meetings, we decided to just chill at the hotel's night club.
its called Paddy O'Malley's and entrance is free for hotel guests.
once we walked through the doors, we knew we were gonna have some fending off to do.
we sat down and before we could order our beers, we were approached by 2 girls.
rating for the girls are 4/10, so we juz kinda ignored them and told them to go away.
there were quite a lot of girls in the bar, some fair, some dark but i would give them an average of 6/10

another 2 average looking girls approached us.

Another option would be Traders around 5mins by car from Parkroyal.

When you land at Yangon Airport after taking your luggage there is a counter where u can rent mobile phones for i think 50usd. and after that when u return the handphone after your trip they will charge u for the amount that u used. so its 50usd rental + usage fees. I never tried so dunno how much actual usage fees is.

Company car send us to sedona hotel which is 15 to 20 mins away from town centre. nice hotel with 2 pretty gals ( okay seriously i dunno what to call them they wear white tops and will help you with your queries standing at the entrance not the ones in red who are at the check in counter lol) their shift is from 3pm to 11pm very friendly and pretty.

our importer brought us to ktv instead.... a place where there are gals that speak chinese and with fair skins
The place is Sky KTV at MGM Hotel for bros who are interested.

We brought our own alcohol so i think the total charges was about 150 USD for fruits soft drinks and some other stuffs.

I sat a gal from Myothit ( close to china border). her name is Ah Xin(4) actual name is Yang Jia Mei. shes burmese but fair skin. very petite, not much boobs but nice ass. some how i find burmese have nice ass:D

anyway she was very nice but i never bring back and also dunno if can bring back or not ahahaha too drunk....

That money changer counter has been around for a long time. The only difference is that the rate now is better. Today rate USD1 = 790ks.

You need to have 4 single entry visa before you can get multiple entry.

Not possible if you stay at Parkroyal unless u go down to Music Club after your boss or colleagues sleeps.

Another caution is when u bring girls home, they will need to leave their Identity Card at front desk for our safety incase they run away in the middle of the nite. Make sure you give correct ROOM number to front desk..:D

Finally got back from Yangon. i was the hotel pub till late. i manage to see only 3 ok looking ones. so saddd. but near the end i saw this young energetic bubly gal it was still 10.30 pm so i ignored it as i did not dare to bring her up just in case boss in lobby or other lady colleagues wondering around drank 3-4 more beers then watched the show finally i as i walked to the restroom i bumped into her again. i guess it was destined. i spoke to her and she sat with me and finally it was about 11.30 i guess it was safe i brought her up.

Yangon is opening up for sure. Too many investors are flocking to this country.

Last year this time, hotels like Traders or Parkroyal hardly 50% occupied. Now, you have to book 2-3 weeks in advance due to big influx of foreigners.

I've been based in Myanmar for 6 months already.

As mentioned in the previous postings..

1) Park Royal seems like the best spot if you do not have any local contacts.
Price range : USD 70 - 100
So far not too impressed by the ladies there but they fancy foreigners especially Singaporeans.

2) Sedona - never tried any ladies there b4 so no comments.
not as many choice as Park Royal but not as sleazy thou.
Price range aprox the same as Park Royal.

3) V6 - very local joint. thats where you can spot some of the "atas" bengs there.
Price Range : 50,000 kyat (aprox USD $65)
Experience here is so-far-so good.
There is something about this joint that is very similar to Pioneer which I'll explain later.

4) Pioneer - a zouk equivalent in Myanmar.
**Note: crowd only start coming in after 1030. Dont bother going too early**
Price Range : 50,000 kyat ONLY!!!!
Twice 2 girls rejected my USD offers. They only accept Kyats for some funny reasons.

5) JJ - AVOID AT ALL COST
the moment i step out of the cab, i sense danger and according to the locals,
foreigners who visit JJs are pretty Low-Class. The atas ones go park royal / sedona.
Expect min english from the ladies here.

6) 369 or 365 (cant remember exactly)
This joint is directly opp Emperor. (In fact the locals advice me to avoid Emperor which i did)
I managed to pick up a 30,000Kyat (aprox SGD45) lady once from here.
But I send her off 1/2 way during the bonk. Couldnt stand the stench from the CB. Never went back there again.
As they say "Good things cant be cheap"


Some interesting facts i've learned about MM ladies.
Other than those at Sedona/Park Royal, the rest of the ladies you find outside are FLs (not professional thus no BJ for some cases).
Most of them hold day jobs. For them, Its NOT all about the $$$.
If they dont like your face = too bad.
They would rather go home empty handed den to sleep with you for $. They are unlike the Thai / Vietnam ladies who will try to warm up to you. For most cases, I had to warm up to them instead (quite sad i know)

Another word of advice, going to Pioneer or V6 has its dangers. Myanmar youngsters likes to fight when drunk. So far, only JJ has security guard specifically tasked to guarding foreigners ( dunno why JJ is doing this to low class foreigners.. :confused:)

For the last few months there have been a lot of exhibition by individual countries in Yangon displaying all their products to show to the people in Myanmar. The import license to import cars are cheaper as well compare to 1 year ago before the election. I am amaze myself how fast things developed, as my last trip was only in June. I believe next year, we can start getting roaming as I understand M1 is in talks with the Myanmar government. Hopefully next year onwards they can waive the visa as its too troublesome.

Depends on your purpose. If on business and you have a business partner in Myanmar, they can help by issuing an Invitation Letter for you to do your visa.

If on leisure, just state for holiday or go thru any travel agent.

For visa application, the photo must be taken with white background(some officer may insist, some dont) ;)

As I type, I am in Myanmar now. So this is my 4th visit here. I'm here on work. My stay here is usually between 4 to 6wks, of which I only get to spend the 1st and last day in Yangon. In between, Im at the worksite in Northern Myanmar in the middle of nowhere. So no chances of bonking here.

My company books me into Season's hotel with is just a stone's throw from the Intl Airport, due to the company having an acct there. so travelling downtown is always a chore. 2 way trip from my hotel to downtown is 10,000kyats.

I've been to ParkRoyal's Music Club twice in search of FL. They weren't tat bad, as my main purpose of going there was not to drink as I can sign off beers at my hotel restaurant. Mail aim of going there is to try "Burmese" meat. At Park Royal, I found this nice looking fair young local. She's 21 and have a petite body. I've a thing for women in Panty hose. And I set my eyes on her cos she was wearing one, and the icing on the cake was its a red panty hose. So very kinky. She came and sat with me. I negotiated the price. After much persuation, she agreed to settle for US$35/night. This was end oct 2010. Now, the negotiation was because a South African colleague of mine went there the previous yr and he got to have 2 women just for US$25 for the whole night. hi bros, just back from yangon and i think it's a great place for cheong.
it reminds me of china in the 1990's. the scene at lucky club was low class and generally dark skined, but if you're lucky there's always a gem there. the girls there are generally bordering at the legal age limit and probably some are! there were at least 100 girls about only 5 guys at 9 pm!
went to royal park hotel bar, the girls there more sophisticated and classier like brix except all they are local. the other place i tried was at the city view hotel called mbe. had one sitting with me fair and at 22 still guite unwordly. only local cliental or asian expats there. had a great traditional massage there in the afternoon there at 14000kyats for two hrs. was like thai massage.

I am new here but have been following some of the threads here and had some adventures with it.

I had just got back from Yangoon for work, my colleagues and I went to this local bar/disco call DJ Bar. 5000 Khyat for entrance which is approx SGD10. The gals cost only around USD 50-70 for whole night and of cos as some of the bro said its black tofu.

From my personal experience the gals do not hesitate about performing a BBBJ. I even have to remind the gals to get the CD from the hotel else there is a high possibility that might do it RAW.

Just to share some info..
I've been based in Myanmar for 6 months already.

As mentioned in the previous postings..

1) Park Royal seems like the best spot if you do not have any local contacts.
Price range : USD 70 - 100
So far not too impressed by the ladies there but they fancy foreigners especially Singaporeans.

2) Sedona - never tried any ladies there b4 so no comments.
not as many choice as Park Royal but not as sleazy thou.
Price range aprox the same as Park Royal.

3) V6 - very local joint. thats where you can spot some of the "atas" bengs there.
Price Range : 50,000 kyat (aprox USD $65)
Experience here is so-far-so good.
There is something about this joint that is very similar to Pioneer which I'll explain later.

4) Pioneer - a zouk equivalent in Myanmar.
**Note: crowd only start coming in after 1030. Dont bother going too early**
Price Range : 50,000 kyat ONLY!!!!
Twice 2 A rejected my USD offers. They only accept Kyats for some funny reasons.

5) JJ - AVOID AT ALL COST
the moment i step out of the cab, i sense danger and according to the locals,
foreigners who visit JJs are A Low-Class. The atas ones go park royal / sedona.
Expect min english from the ladies here.

6) 369 or 365 (cant remember exactly)
This joint is directly opp Emperor. (In fact the locals advice me to avoid Emperor which i did)
I managed to pick up a 30,000Kyat (aprox SGD45) lady once from here.
But I send her off 1/2 way during the bonk. Couldnt stand the stench from the CB. Never went back there again.
As they say "Good things cant be cheap"


Some interesting facts i've learned about MM ladies.
Other than those at Sedona/Park Royal, the rest of the ladies you find outside are FLs (not professional thus no BJ for some cases).
Most of them hold day jobs. For them, Its NOT all about the $$$.

Since this thread is about Myanmar, I want to contribute my FR also. Last month I went to Yangon for business and with the help of my local friend, managed to venture around some hotels.

(1) Sedona
I can tell you the facility is very nice. big room , nice smell, huge shower room attached. the lady massaged me is in 30+. not looking nice one lol...

Exactly what I had in mind but sadly, no capital. Hospitality services booming in Myanmar due to huge influx of Western tourists. 20 years of "closed door" policies has piqued Western interests.

Boutique style hotel will make a killing now. Parkroyal. 2 years ago, rate was USD50+, today its USD88 and yet daily fully booked for the last 2 months. Many abandoned colonial British bungalows available in good location and can be converted into small boutique hotel.
