With regards to HIV, I think you need to three months after your last sexual episode before doing a blood test. If negative, there is a 95% chance that you do not have HIV. You should then do a re-test at six months after your last sexual episode. If negative, than it is almost guaranteed (99%) that you do not have HIV.

With regards to syphilis, it would only show up on a blood test only 1 to 3 weeks after you have been infected. Meaning that if you do a blood test 1 to 3 weeks after you have been infected, and if it is negative, that doesn’t mean that you are in the clear (it could be that the antibodies in your body have yet to sufficiently appear enough to give a positive on your blood test). From what I understand, it is only if you do a test after 6 weeks of your last sexual episode, and if it is negative, than can you safely conclude that you don’t have syphilis.

Incidentally, if the pros gives you BJ before a FJ, it is good idea to use a new condom after the BJ, and before going into the FJ. During the BJ, the pros may have accidentally bitten on the condom, and thus rendering it effectively useless in preventing disease.

Because you had sex without condom with an FL, I say go for checkup at 3 and 6 months after that time you FJ without a condom.

Bro MitMit is right: early detection is important for you because of retroviral cocktails you can take early on to lower your viral load and live longer if kena HIV+ etc.
Important also because
a) if kena infected now, it's better to find out now to take those retroviral drugs early; rather than find out later years after when kena high fevers for long periods of time, dry tongue because of cauliflower like white coat on the tongue, and kena go to hospital where they'll find out and then really report you. These high fevers that happen years later are serious kinds, sweating in the bed, and a lot require hospitalisation, by which time the infected person cannot just run off and go to Thailand or something for treatment, because too weak, too sick to think right and run away from family and friends and doctors and nurses who get suspicious—because medical practitioners can see the telltale signs. And believe it or not, some other people who are not in medicine, CAN also.

Medical practitioners in Singapore are required by law to inform the MoH of infected persons, and infected persons are required to inform their spouses.

b) if find out kena infected now, can stop cheonging, so as to NOT spread to wife, hookers and casual sex partners—which may lead to infection of other unsuspecting cheongers!!!

So you may think your life is fine now and ignorance is bliss. Better to know now, clean or infected: not just for your sake, for your FAMILY's sake and for OUR sake!

Find out as soon as possible with the AfA anonymous testing!

Anyway I have come across this Duplex Brand - Proforma condom, is is very commonly on sales at Johor department store like Watson. At Watson it is priced at 6.45RM for 3 piece pack, for 12 piece pack something like 22.50RM. ALong the street, those mama store, most of them also carry this condoms.

But back in Singapore, I check into local department store and pharmacies, don't seem to have these Profoma type. I was wondering is this a control items meaning if it is then it is an offence to back back to Singapore like Chewing Gum. :D

It goes like 1,3,6 mths. The 1 month is the minimum requirement to get a so called accurate test. If u can ta han till 3 or 6 mths better still more accurate.

Symptoms are not a good way to be sure if a person HIV+ or not. The data on symptoms of primary HIV infection is not good enough to suggest anything.

The only thing we can be sure of is some HIV infected people (whether 'most' or not is debatable) show symptoms of primary HIV infection. And that some (whether 'most' or not is debatable again) HIV infected people show no symptoms at all.

And there is currently no data that suggests primary HIV infection symptoms actually show up only after a year. First and foremost, the common test for HIV--which looks for specific antibodies--will already show results within the six month period. Antibodies occur after seroconversion--which is after the primary HIV infection symptoms, if any, appear.

Do check out bro BigSexy's thread thoroughly after this. But in brief:-
1) know the difference between primary HIV infection symptoms AND symptoms of other opportunistic infections that come with the HIV+ condition.
2) know that the use of symptoms for diagnosis is too unreliable for HIV and that only the antibody (in blood) test can really tell if a person is HIV+ or not.

Yes, The incubation period can be 2 to 3 years before any symptoms Appear. Because the HIV 1 or 2 virus need time to break down ur immune system or gene in order to let the Virus fully infest in ur bloodstream .
