Hey, guys.

So, halloween's just round the corner, and I'm dressing up as Aphrodite. You know, the greek goddess of love and beauty. The whole outfit, with the white silk dress, curled hair, laurel leaves in the hair. It really got me thinking about what costumes guys like to see. None of the cliche ones like policewoman, nurse, french maid. Some new and fresh ideas?

And yes, I'm a girl, in case you guys didn't catch that. ;- )

As to what gets Guys going, it really varies from guy to guy, (example: not all guys have OL/police fetish). Hence there are a multitude of answers possible

But If u are looking for odd and fresh halloween ideas:
spin the wheel and choose from any game, anime, cartoon.

over-used ones would be
Rinoa
Tifa
Yuna

For a real kick in the butt and in keeping with Mythos theme, try Medusa, persephone, Kali (The Destroyer), or Gaia. :eek: actually whole lot other goddesses/fae/whatnot including Norse mythos and japanese . Tinkerbell?

And thats about all i can think of at this late hours. :D

Johnston, I like your ideas! Yes it's true that Aphrodite is often pictured in the nude with plump breasts and long hair, but I thought I'd go as a more modest version instead. ^^ I was thinking more of roleplaying costumes to wear for halloween... Because who hasn't heard the saying that Halloween is the only day in the year where a girl can dress like a slut and no one else can say anything about it!

Please excuse for my ignorance... From the pics by Wikipedia, Aphrodite seems to wear near to nothing........ Are u wearing that...... 'nothing'?? Or is there other pics that show she wore some clothing.... :confused:

In ancient greek and roman art, its no big issue to be nude as it wasnt all that big of a deal actually. It was a braver time. :eek: These were people who had

1) communal baths
2) Olmympic in the Nude
3) so much Sex Slave around that apparently there is no word for Mastubation :eek:
4) rampant depicting of myth figures in the nude as evidence by a exhibition at de National Musuem last year or something.

All of which are un-accept-able in today society. anyway just to illustrate hor, did any one notice the Mona Lisa have no eyebrows? ;)

On a more serious note, you must strike a balance between
uniqueness
beauty (or lack of)
ease of wear
and the age old issue of COST. (a full blown Kali costume wouldnt be any of these :D)

anyhoo, the beast with two backs is a not so widely known euphemism for Fucking :D

It just struck me, you could likely strike a balance between gross out/sexy by dress up as a Nurse from Silent Hill. or if you can find a strong hunk to carry you around, Siam also works.

She's portraying a goddess. They can do whatever fuck they want to.
Anyhow there are plenty examples in mythology of Celestial beings assuming any form they choose to dependant on situation. Sun wu kong assuming many forms, goddess of mercy in disguise, etc, etc.

besides, technically radio and gravity were ALWAYS around, they just had to be discovered. :D likewise silk was possibly spawned into being when insects came out.:D so yeah, the Gods could magically create a silk garment long before silly humans discover it can be used for such. :cool:

like i said, a costume has to strike a balance between many factors and she probably went for the sweet, demure aspect of Aphrodite. :D

That's a nice costume! :) looks very elegant. I love dressing up and taking private pix for my FB too.. But so far his requests have been quite run of the mill - so far I've done Jap schoolgirl uniform, French maid, nurse.. Think these are still the most popular and most kinky, that's why..

Other outfits I've done are black fishnet stockings with killer black heels, nothing but an oversized white men's shirt, black lingerie.. Quite normal haha. His next request is a g-string and his fave soccer jersey but he's gotta pass me the jersey first :p
