Moral of the story is to always read the T&C before you key in your CC details. :)

Most reputable sites will not charge, only when you subscribe for the premium contents will you have to pay. The reason why they asked for your CC details is for verification purposes. If you are still worried, call your bank up and tell them to inform you should there be any overseas or online charge attempt.
